I am an african american mother and I'm new to your product. I have daughter's with "Real" natural hair. I press their hair. They have never had a perm. They get their ends trirmmed [By regularly applying either Wild growth product to the ends, there will be less a need for ends trimming] at a salon regularly. I just had a question about your product. I thought I read something about using the wild growth oil [Wild Growth Hair Oil, not Wild Growth Light Oil Moisturizer] while blow drying or pressing the hair. Would using any kind of oil while pressing fry your hair? [Potentially, yes, but only when you keep the heat source on the oil too long: thats when you run the pressing comb through too slowly or leave it in the flat iron too long. The nice thing about WIld Growth Hair Oil in the hair is that the hair straightening will occur faster with less heat exposure time and without as high a heat setting. To save money you can combine the Wild Growth Hair Oil with a cheap pressing grease and get the same quick results. Please note that, without heat, Wild Growth Hair Oil will soften the hair texture to significantly make grooming (combing, brushing and braiding) faster and easier. In that case there would be no potential exposure to heat damage at all]. Also when using the moisturizer on natural hair would either of these products cause your hair to draw up, get the poofy frizzy look, or look as though it has been washed.
