QUALITY ASSURANCE

Shelf Life/What is the shelf Life? Wild Growth products shelf life is indefinite, it will actually improve a bit with age. Even at ten years and longer, it is good. Really no chance of rancidity because of the high anti-oxidant values. You can have a bottle already used in your cabinet (not refrigerated) for years without a trace of rancidity.  Stored at room temperature, you can agitate the product more effectively before dispensing.

How can I trust that the product is not tampered with wherever I buy it? The bottles are sealed with a heat induction liner.

How can I be assured of consistency? Any  changes in color, texture, or odor are as a result of balancing that particular batch to bring it in line with the performance parameters of the original formula. Because the raw materials  vary in characteristics from one batch to the next,  we make adjustments to yield the same effective product as always, with the result, sometimes, being a change  in the color, texture, or odor.  We directly transform, extract, enhance, and purify from raw ingredients, and we have mastered the balancing act of making the product consistently look, feel and smell  the same while ensuring its performance or functionality remains at the exact high level  it has been since the first batch rolled out in 1984. While other product manufacturers, relying on ultra refined large batch chemicals from other large manufactures, may produce a slightly more consistently appearing, feeling and smelling product, you may rest assured in both the superior strength, purpose-manufacture, and purity of our final products, formulated with naturally enhanced components processed in house, in accordance with our own devised successful benchmarks. An example of consumer feed back on Wild Growth products consistency:

"I haven’t written your company since 2005, but I wanted to commend your business, once again, on a wonderful, consistent product. I have been using this product, since 2003. Not only on myself, but my children as well, including my son. My daughters and I had Alopecia, in a large area on our temples, at one point. Our hair just wouldn’t grow there, but would grow like a Lion’s Manes everywhere else. Go figure! Thanks to WGHO we have seen a great turn around in our temple areas, as well as overall hair growth. I find myself coming out of my shyness, and speaking to people more, when I’m shopping at the Beauty Supply, because I am always offering advice on using your product. Don’t change a thing WGHO." Be blessed!!! Akilah D.- August 01, 2012

Are there fakes out there?

No.  Throughout the years  every questioned bottle that was brought to our attention or those that were observed by us on photos in the media have been cleared as the being genuine or the real product. Lately, bottle wording and ingredients list inconsistencies have spurred lack of confidence as to which version is the real one. Each of these versions have been confirmed by us as real.

Well, what about the change in ingredient listed?  So You changed your formula!

No. Not at all! Our expansion into all markets requiring the ingredients to be listed more accurately caused our newer versions to appear to have different ingredients. Rest assured that the exact same stuff goes into Wild Growth products but the bottles are now showing the materials used that are the sources of the ingredients previously listed:

Summary of the history of ingredients listing changes:

Through a multi-step extraction and purification process ( Wild Growth® oil nutrient complex - a method exclusively developed and protected by Wild Growth Co. since 1985 which is even more important than the ingredients themselves--for more info, follow this link: http://www.wildgrowth.com/Wild%20Growth%C2%AE%20oil%20nutrient%20complex.htm ),

Formerly listed, 'Oleic acids, triolein, arachidic esters, flavonoids, monolaurin, capric acid, monocparin, long chained monohydroxyl groups, pro vitamin A, pro vitamin E, natural vitamin D, squalene, terpenoids, hydroxytyrosol, oleuropein, the aglycone of ligstrosides, (=)-1-acetoxypinoresinol, pinoresinol, chloropyll, carotinoids'
are sourced from Olive Oil.
Formely listed ergocalciferol (vitamin D) is sourced from newly listed select mushrooms.
Formely listed choline is sourced from newly listed chick pea, lentil, and sesame seed.
Formely listed inositol is sourced from newly listed chick pea, lentil, and sesame seed.
Formely listed iron is sourced from newly listed chick pea, cocoa mass, lentil, and sesame seed.
Formely listed magnesium is sourced from newly listed cocoa mass and sesame seed.
Formely listed phosphorous is sourced from chick pea, lentil, and sesame seed.
Formely listed calcium is sourced from cocoa mass and sesame seed.

Also, the newly listed essential oils which were not formerly listed, were always used though not listed in the past. Historically, users have reported noting the presence of essential oils, despite the bottle not listing them.

Below is a summary of the dispelling of suspicions that real Wild Growth bottles are fake or are no longer the same product:

When the term, 'fragrance' was used it was to save space from listing the natural essential oils that were the source of the fragrance. When the website mentioned no fragrance used, it meant synthetic fragrance. Space savings was also a consideration when using 'and other ingredients' on the bottle. That (temporarily) replaced earlier versions with, 'Wild Growth Nutrient Complex'. Then 'other ingredients' was also removed as the term was not accepted by the United Kingdom market.

There have been few fakes that have ever been confirmed in over 36 years of manufacturing Wild Growth.  Yet a few concerned users or potential users have expressed doubts regarding changes in quality and even authenticity of Wild Growth products.

Slight but noticeable variations in odor, consistency and color have been noted throughout the manufacturing history. This has been due to variation in raw material batches. The variations in characteristics have not and do not affect functionality of the products.

It is Wild Growth's proprietary methods of processing and testing, regardless of expected variations in raw materials that have occurred throughout Wild Growth's history, that make these products work. We choose the highest quality materials and do not skimp. We are a privately held company and have full control in making sure that the final product manufactured withstands the rigors that have made Wild Growth products so great.

Bottle copy changes have lead to suspicions of fakes. But rest assured that all versions are genuine unchanged Wild Growth products.
Recently, the change of ingredients listed have added to the confusion. We removed English and Spanish versions to
make the print larger. Descriptions in English have also varied. Then we have made a more precise ingredients list with names of ingredients we have been using all along. The growth in the market place requires that our wording and ingredient names become more accurate and precise in order to comply with trading standards. Yet to appear by January 2018 will be the, hopefully, final
version with essential oils added on the list but were used in the products all along (essential oils Of Clary Sage, Eucalyptus, rankincense, Geranium, Grapefruit,  Lavender and Peppermint). Also, Jojoba oil was inadvertently left out in the newer updates and will be put back in. In general, the older ingredients lists were grossly inaccurate. But whichever bottle label versions are encountered. the product inside is the same. All the different ingredients list versions we have viewed belong to bottles containing genuine Wild Growth oils.

Furthermore, in the process of making changes back in 7/17, there was an error where a digit in the telephone number
was inadvertently changed. This has recently been corrected to 888 945-3476. If people were to cross reference the bad phone number (888 845-3476) with the phone number on the web sites (www.wildgrowthcompany.com or www.wildgrowth.com), they would see the correct 888 945-3476.

All final changes and the correction will be seen on bottles in the upcoming months.

Finally, there have been one or the other of two P.O. Boxes on the bottle, leading individuals to believe that one of them is a fake:

Wild Growth Co.
P.O. Box 14822
Scottsdale, AZ 85267

Wild Growth Co.
P.O. 2940
Saint Johns, AZ 85936

Rest assured that both P.O. boxes above are valid Wild Growth addresses.
